All About the Cypress Falls Swimming Hole
Phenomenal Features
Wimberley is praised by locals and tourists for its beautiful swimming holes. The most well-known are Blue Hole and Jacob’s Well. If you’re looking for a place to swim that’s less crowded, but equally as entertaining, the Cypress Falls Swiming Hole is the perfect oasis for you. Tucked away in the Texas Hill Country, this swimming area is part of Cypress Creek and is spring fed by Jacob’s Well. This results in clean, fresh, flowing water that you can enjoy all year long.
The swimming hole at Cypress Falls is remarkable for an array of reasons. One of its standout features is Eagle Rock. Explore a natural rock formation that runs alongside the creek and creates a cave-like structure. Here, you can take a break from the warm sun and relax in the shade. Then, embrace your inner Tarzan and jump off the rope swing into the refreshing water!
Boating and Burgers and Beer, Oh My!
Although the Cypress Falls Swimming Hole is serene and surrounded by nature, it’s stocked with convenient amenities to make your day at the creek complete. If you’re a fan of water sports, look no further! You can rent canoes, kayaks, tubes, and paddleboards onsite. When your stomach starts to growl, head over to the Back Porch Cafe, a cute Wimberley restaurant, for a barbeque sandwich or burger. Adults can also wet their whistles at the bar, where beer and wine are available for purchase. When visiting the falls, don’t forget to bring your furry friend along. The swimming hole is pet-friendly!
I’ve Got to Go! But, How?
